Boss Child Theme

I don’t know if this has been addressed but, when i update Boss Parent theme i lose All my settings in the child theme. I do ALL my settings and customizations in the child theme, i always have, but when i update the parent theme all my settings and customizations are gone. is there anything i can do to prevent this? OR is there a setting or something i can do in the child theme, since its the only theme activated to save my settings and customizations, even when the parent theme is updated?

Hello @digital-porch, parent theme update should not change the child theme customization and setting as child theme folder is separate from parent theme folder, just do one thing go to the customizer and save the setting without changing anything to update the values and rewrite the option.css again

There was an update last night and so far everything is fine. i didn’t have to re-do anything. i hear that will be taken care of next update, and i will remember this. it sure saves time had hassles.
