Boxed Layout & Featured Image

hi!

1. is it possible to change the layout from full width to boxed?

2. is it possible to install a fixed background image?

3. How can i make featured images show in the post page? coz right now they only show in the homepage.

@hoops Unfortunately it is not possible to change to a boxed layout, but I could try to help a bit trying to get something you can work with. Show me exactly what you mean with a link and I’ll see what I can do to help. You may want to download FireBug for Firefox or get to know Google/IE Developer Tools as these are the tools you need to help change to a “boxed” layout you are referring to.

2) Yes, you will need to edit custom.css of your child theme. See previous post here:

what i meant was the featured image for the single post page – it doesnt show…

hi @tjchester, thanks! by the way, have a follow up question…i have these plugins – All in one Favicon & BuddyPress Live Notification but they only work while in the admin panel, once you’re outside in the site proper both of them dont work… do you have an idea why?

All in one Favicon hasn’t been updated in about 2 years and not compatible with WP over version 3.4.2

Many plugins are defunct, check them carefully before installing.
