AlyssaParticipant@leonardoarias I think you have answered many of your own questions and it appears WPEngine is limiting heartbeat perhaps to extract more money out of its users? Moving forward we will need to make a note of this and inform our users of all the information you were able to gather. I personally use hostgator. Others use Bluehost. STAY AWAY from godaddy at all costs. Most of them are resellers of a big few like HostGator and Blue Host so why not buy from the largest if that is what you will get in the end. PS those are US, not certain of international ISPs.

Anonymous@tjchester would you mind taking a look at siteground.com hosting unless you already know of them well. I may make the transfer to their go geek plan if you think their hosting is solid. I’d like to do it within the easter sale so if you can checkout within the next day or so please. If you have any other recommendation please let me know. I’m looking for about $30 or less a month and I really like the staging feature that wpengine has, but we obviously know that they have some issues. Happy Easter. @rugwarrior thanks for the post.

AlyssaParticipant@ryanmaler I can’t recommend siteground. They don’t allocate very much RAM to PHP, my searching says 128MB and we need atleast 256. 512 or more is ideal. You would need a VPS and I don’t think you want to spend that much.
