Question
October 18, 2015 at 11:04 pm #49061@tpetteeHi there,
First, I’d like to say thanks so much for developing such amazing BuddyPress themes and plugins. I’m a big fan of everything you guys do!
I’d like to especially say thanks for the free plugins you put time and energy into creating. They’re extremely useful and look very stylish at the same time.
That being said, I’ve run into a conflict between BuddyPress Global Search and Events Manager. I don’t know which side the problem lies on, so I thought I’d report it in both places.
Anyway, the issue is with the calendar on the Events Manager plugin form page. When you get to that page and scroll all the way down, you can see the calendar show up in the bottom, left-hand corner. Then if you scroll back up and click in one of the “From” or “To” date fields, the calendar looks quite different than it normally does.
I’m attaching the three following screenshots:
“Disabled” – The normal calendar without “Buddypress Global Search” enabled.
“Enabled 1” – The bottom of the page after activating “Buddypress Global Search”.
“Enabled 2” – The calendar with “Buddypress Global Search” enabled. Thanks in advance for taking the time to look into this for me. I really appreciate it!

October 30, 2015 at 6:34 pm #50195@tpetteeIt’s been almost two weeks since I posted this, and there hasn’t been any response from a moderator.
Can you please confirm whether or not this is an issue that you are able to reproduce.
And if so, is it something that needs to be fixed on your end or in Events Manager?
Thanks.
November 13, 2015 at 11:09 am #51593@yespapaHi,
I have the same issue! Somebody is working on it?
Events manager is really a good add-on to BuddyPress. It’s a shame that there is this issue.
Buddyboss’s team is this work on?
Thanks for your help. (and thank you to our customers)
November 15, 2015 at 2:55 am #51726@tpetteeThanks for adding your input on this issue @Stéphane.
I’m about to launch my site, but am unable to use the Global Search plugin along with the Events Manager plugin.
I’ve also reported this to the Events Manager developer, and at least he replied and said he would look into it.
For some reason the BuddyBoss team seems to be completely ignoring this thread.
November 15, 2015 at 3:16 am #51730@yespapaHi @Tood,
Yes It will be great that the two teams find a solution. Events Manager plugin is a must have when you want to create an Entreprise Social Network with Buddypress.
I have also this issue when I display a empty Events list.
I hope they can come back to us with some good news.
November 17, 2015 at 2:12 am #51914@yespapaHi @Tood,
Any news about this issue? Is the BuddyBoss team reading this thread?
@Tood, where can I have more infos about this issue?
Thank you.

I know you guys are busy, but it’s really important to at least communicate that you’re aware of it and working on it.
