Question
March 30, 2015 at 4:59 pm #38254@leonardoariasHi guys,
While this is not directly related to Boss itself, I am guessing many of you may have faced the same issue, so I am asking here. Forgive me if I am in the wrong forum.
I configured my site to be in spanish. Everything is working properly, but not Buddypress. Buddypress keeps displaying in english. And buddypress does come with es_ES translation.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
Location files are there. They come with buddypress.
Thank you.

AlyssaParticipant@leonardoarias Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! Try the codestyling localization plugin. That usually fixes most people’s issues.
March 31, 2015 at 11:55 am #38315@leonardoariasHi @tjchester. THank you for the welcome message, and for your suggestion.
I just solved the issue.
I will share how I did, in case somebody else faces the same issue:
Buddypress comes with a spanish translation but the translation was missing many strings. So, it was an incomplete translation. That is why the buddypress pages were mostly being displayed in english.
So I went to the buddypress translation website. There, I downloaded the most recent translation (where others can contribute as well). I uploaded that file to the languages/plugins/ folder and now it all works.
Thank you.
