Question
October 8, 2015 at 5:27 am #48185@mln83The bug causes the plugin LearnDash Course Grid (http://www.learndash.com/work/course-grid/) to not display correctly.
I have run several tests on my developer site, deactivating all plugins, making sure that the LearnDash Course Grid plugin worked on Twenty Fifteen and then on Boss Theme and Boss Social Learner theme (Before-activation-of-Boss-for-LearnDash-104.png). Next I activated the Boss for LearnDash plugin (Skærmbillede-2015-10-08-kl.-13.17.47.png).
As you can see from the images the styling is completely messed up after activating Boss for LearnDash 1.0.4
I can grant you access to my developer site in a private message in case you are interested in correcting this bug for the next Boss for LearnDash 1.0.4 update.
Best regards,

October 8, 2015 at 5:41 am #48191@mln83I have also posted this bug report in the LearnDash support forum as they may be able to provide useful assistance:

Anonymoushi @mln83, you do not need to activate LearnDash Course Grid, Grid codes are already part of Boss-learndash
that’s why you will get issues with it.
RegardsOctober 8, 2015 at 11:08 am #48229@mln83Hi @vapvarun,
Thanks for replying. I didn’t realize that it replaced the LearnDash Course Grid. Only thing missing in Boss for LearnDash is the option to show the price of a course – included in the LearnDash Course Grid. Is it possible to enable this somehow?
Best regards,

AnonymousHi @mln83 we have included price of the course to display with course-gird in our suggestion list

What is the timing for this – its a REALLY important feature of Course Grid many of us have waited for, for a long long time and now its gone… The impact is that we need to find ways to embed the pricing into pager text – which is a nightmare if any price changes, or there is a discounted program running.I’m now over a month into debugging and trying to resolve this with custom css/php – which for a non-web developer like me who bought Social Leaner for an out the box solution – is hugely frustrating.
I have 40 years in IT and have been a product manager. You should never remove functionality. If you do – you should never schedule its replacement – it must be regarded as an issue/bug and be expedited – either via a workaround or a permanent solution.
November 16, 2015 at 4:42 am #51788@mln83Hi team,
Thanks for finally solving this issue with todays update.
I have one question / request – The course author image is now shadowed by the the Price text. Can the author image be moved to the right please?
Thanks!

AnonymousHi @mln83, You can add this css code to align them right:
.course-overlay img { left: 73% !important; }

PallaviNovember 16, 2015 at 6:10 am #51799@mln83Thanks it worked! You can close this one now 🙂
November 16, 2015 at 9:44 am #51835@ianclaytonDont close yet – what exactly was fixed and how – My assumption is that the updates are in the 2.0.4 B/P and 1.0.5 L/D integration updates, and we can now enable the course grid plugin – correct?
November 16, 2015 at 9:52 am #51838@mln83Hi @ianclayton,
Not part of the BuddyBoss theme but thought I could fill in some info here.
You don’t need to enable the LearnDash course grid plugin.
Just update to latest version of Boss for LearnDash 1.0.5 (this plugin basically replaces http://www.learndash.com/work/course-grid/)
The price tag should now be visible with the new update from BuddyBoss.
If you want to move the author image to the right on each Course Item you will need to add the above mentioned CSS code to the custom.css file.
November 16, 2015 at 10:06 am #51844@ianclaytonThanks Michael – thats why I’d rather not leap to ticket closure – there are a few other areas to test – placement of the category selector box when used, and the my course option when using the course grid – thats why I sent them the course grid documentation page – and requested they make sure whatever functionality was offered – was supported.
I’ve been banging on about this for a while with Justin – the L/D founder – and he is now up to date after speaking with their founder this weekend… User power!
This has been dragging since July… excited to get movement here – and thankful to the Boss team for fixing matters.
November 16, 2015 at 10:08 am #51845@ianclaytonUpdate – if you enable the LearnDash Course Grid plugin that now works and replaces the look and feel of the Boss alternative – excellent. Although I prefer the Boss presentation. I’ve opened up a separate ticket for the space issue below and between the category selector box/button and the top of the course image… (there is no space).
November 16, 2015 at 10:27 am #51849@ianclaytonUpdate update – when using a membership system to control access and fees – making courses available under a subscription, the ribbon still shows ‘FREE’ and does not indicate a Membership is required. I have taken this up with Justin at learndash first, but it will likely reappear here as a request.
Thought I would add this comment to the thread since many of us use L/D with membership systems. Should be an easy task to check for membership level association or add a custom field that if present would replace use of Free/Fee information.
