How can I Change the background color of the posts and updates like facebook? please see the attached picture.

actually, this could become a request for a new plugin, because it requires more than just the theme structure.

this can be done… you could request “custom development” with the button below.

Thank you very much @jeanpierre, but is there any css code that can be added to the theme so I can at least change the background color of the users updates like buddyboss theme???

note quite… to have that kind of background change, you need at least a function that check if the posts were made after your last visit of the page, and that can not be done simply by CSS… it is not complicated, but yet not done via css only.

Hi @taleb you will need to edit the boss/buddypress/activity/entry.php inside the child theme, with logical conditions on which you are going to change background color, along with custom css
