Hello! Just want to say that I am loving this theme. I am really excited about launching my new social site!!!

I have been pulling my hair out trying to change the language files for my site.

My goal is to change “groups” to be called “circles” & “friends” into “contacts”. Here is what I have done so far.

Downloaded poedit and Edited the buddypress language files and uploaded them to /wp-content/languages/plugins

This has worked and changed most of the words within my wordpress site but not all of them. To change the remaining words I downloaded the buddyboss themes language files from /wp-content/themes/boss/languages

I have edited them and now uploaded them to the same location i got them from wp-content/themes/boss/languages. This did not work so I also uploaded them to /wp-content/languages/themes but the few remaining words have still not changed.

Please see the photo attached to see the words I can’t seem to change. The green ticks show the words I have changed and the red crosses show the ones I can’t seem to change.

Hi @rasmusse1, There is additional language file inside the social learner child theme. You will also have to make changes into that.

It will be better to use ‘Loco Translate Plugin’ to do required changes

Question, is the boss theme the parent and the social learner the child? I can’t seem to find any language files in the social learner theme. I have been able to find them in the boss theme and I have edited those ones.

Hi @rasmusse1, Yes… Social Learner is the child theme of Boss theme. If you are not getting the language file into the theme folder so kindly download the latest version 1.0.3 from your download section.

Thank you for your support but still not working. The .po file only has a few items and did not have any items I needed changed. Is there anything else I am missing here?

Hi @rasmusse1 You can send private message from her profile page , You can send her WordPress Login details

The screenshot you have attached those should be part of BuddyPress translation file, Please check the BuddyPress translation file again for any missing Group string.
