Question
March 23, 2016 at 9:36 am #64840@nomnomappHey,
I’ve been making some changes on the child themes css file custom.css. I am using WP Editor plugin for that, made first few changes, updated file and I could see those changes immediately. Then I wanted to add some more css rules, but none of them worked. Removed my previous css rules, saved the file again, but I could still see my first changes on my website, although custom.css file is completely empty, without any css rules! It’s sounds absolutely ludicrous, tried to reinstall child theme, but exactly same thing happens again: first time I add something to css file appears just fine, second time when I add something new it just doesn’t appear and then when I try to remove my previous css rules, they just stay there with css file being empty.
Please let me know how to fix that, it’s driving me nuts.

March 23, 2016 at 11:39 am #64860@jeanpierrewhen you update a theme, only the files are changed, not the data you store in the database, like the form you use for the CSS… so, no, the changes will not vanish by using this form.
