Cover Image Size

Just bought the boss theme, it’s a nice theme and all but these little nuisances are driving me nuts! I noticed on your demo theme the cover images are uploading at 1400px width but so why do we have to add all these modifications to css/functions to get the same results?

Already suggest corresponding codes in above replies you can use the same inside child theme functions.php
