I’m trying to create a custom Group template. I copied the home.php file and created a template index-slug-mygroup.php. It’s recognizing the template. However, it’s not loading the page header, footer, etc.. I’m guessing there is a file somewhere that that loads those template parts into the home.php and it’s not seeing the custom template. What files do I need to edit to get them to see the template and load those parts?

    Thanks

After more testing this seems to be a BP issue. Not sure what’s going on.

    /buddypress/groups/single/index-slug-{slug}.php

OK, I guess I needed to copy the home.php into a page template. That seemed to get it working. 🙂

Will do. I thought this was a theme issue when I first posted it.
