custom(ise) login form

i’m trying to customize the login form (for example with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-login/). but no matter what i try, everything gets ignored.

The only way to do some customisation is through the functions-template (ie: dd_action(‘login_enqueue_scripts’,’hide_logo’);)

is there a way to disable the login-template and allow plugins to step in?
