Question
July 28, 2015 at 2:01 am #43409@
AnonymousI have been using copy and paste to transfer content from one lesson to the other from the frontend (as the edit lesson function is not available from the wordpress bar).
Now I see masses of “data nodes” in the text mode of the lessons.
What is this?
Does this disturb or break the content of the lesson in any way? Particularly if I delete the content from which I copied it later?Answers

Anonymous@jeanpierre, @vapvarun,
See screenshot from text editor.
July 28, 2015 at 10:15 am #43445@jeanpierrewith proper terms, we understand… “html tags” … 🙂
on text editor, we see what codes are used by the visual editor.
i suppose you tried to copy/paste the page displayed online, and not in the editor?… that’s usually the effect.
you can delete all these codes and redo your display at will.

AnonymousO.K. … but I have never seen this in my old theme. And I am wondering if I need to delete them or if these html tags might cause any problems.
For example, the Sensei lesson order is constantly changing in the module I am writing lessons now, and I have no idea where this is coming from. Also Sensei supports is wondering where to start searching and supposes “3rd party interference”.
July 28, 2015 at 10:48 am #43449@jeanpierreit is clear that if you ask support at 2 or 3 places at the same time and continue to play with your tool without answers, you may find more strange behaviors and nobody will be able to fix everything…
from the look of what i see here in this forum, it seems you started to workout every single bit of your site without any coding or design knowledge, and now you’re stuck with a lot of random results…
if your goal is to have a WordPress with Sensei, i would suggest you start over with the WooThemes team, and build it from ground up, so someone in the team can follow everything you need…

AnonymousHi @jeanpierre,
I am not playing around, I am trying to work productively. Although it is sometimes difficult, because the Social Learner still seems to need some refinement.
Until now, I stayed with all major components with WooThemes, because this is exactly what I do not need: being sent form one side to the other in case of problems.
My knowledge is as good as of any wordpress user who is not an IT engineer.
If you would excuse me now, I need to continue to

AnonymousHi @nmschaller, does it changes after you publish a new lesson or any time ? After adding all lessons for a course you can order them using ” Order Lessons ” Menu option for Lessons.

AnonymousHey @nmschaller , You have already one thread open for Order Lessons.
Just of quick approach you can use duplicate lesson option or use https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/Regards

AnonymousO.k.
Just out of interest: What are these data nodes? I have not seen this in Canvas.

AnonymousHey @nmschaller, Those are just identifier for each query , you can view their incremental values which is generated in run time from server side.
