I will premise my question with the fact that I do not know HTML. I have been doing websites as a hobby and rely on theme features to produce the look and functionality. I have three websites that I play around with and over the last five years or so have used many themes from a variety of vendors. I have experimented with the two main out of the box WordPress Social Netork building platforms and a variety of membership plugins. That is the short story. Being a hobby I do not have the funds for developers,again relying on theme features. I got the email on the Boss Theme and purchased it a week or so ago. Great presentation and theme. The main thing I see on the surface is the fullwidth view on the desktop. When “customizing” my site,options are basic. I was really interested in the Feature Areas and button links that I saw below the home page slider on the demo site. Perhaps I am missing something… I saw how you can create slides with buttons for homepage slider,but that does not appeal to me. Any guidance is appreciated.

@ricko Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! I’m glad to hear you chose us over the competition. Also, noting you are not advanced with HTML I have some good news for you. We use a plugin called Page Builder, here is a link: https://siteorigin.com/page-builder/

A further question,perhaps it should be in another topic but here goes. With the Boss being wide page it would be nice to do some page builder modifications to make use of the “vast” amount of space available on the desk top when on your wall. ( mobile is great )

However I do not see a page other then Activity. Is there a “Wall” short code to insert if I would build another page?

@ricko BuddyPress makes several pages that do not have physical WordPress tied pages. It is much more complex to edit these pages. You could try searching for plugins like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bowe-codes/ Not sure if any work or are still supported but might be worth a try.
