Question
November 16, 2015 at 5:15 am #51791@mln83Dear BuddyBoss team (@michael, @tjchester, @vapvarun, @pallavi) thanks for the recent update. It partially fixes some of the issues with the Social Learner integration.
There are still some issues with this recent update, however. I have included two images to elaborate on these issues. Included in the images are some suggestions for possible solutions.
Dear Social Learner community please feel free to pitch in with your opinion as well. Referring to people from previous posts on this issue (https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/course-link-inconsistency/, https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/tabs-bug/)
@icuc, @davejay, @adminchroncleproject-com, @happybynatureAll the best!

Please can the dev team look at this asap. It’s a big problem for user experience.
Thank guys, and thanks Michael.November 16, 2015 at 9:13 am #51830@mln83Thanks. I am happy to hear that the feedback is useful.
I have a couple of suggestions to improve the user experience further in the Social Learner theme.
Included are some mockups which should be (almost) doable in the current Social Learner theme. Thus it is within reach to make these suggested modifications within a reasonable time frame (1-2 months?).
At least the mockups may serve as inspiration for the BuddyBoss developers.
Please feel free to provide feedback.
Best regards,

AlyssaParticipant@mln83 thank you for this feedback. Since I am not a user of LD it is difficult to know which enhancements typical users want. This integration is new for BuddyPress so all of this information will be processed internally and added to the solution if deemed appropriate. Please give us a couple months to get these changes in the system and processed. We have been in the process of fixing the menu items so that change should appear soon if it hasn’t already, though you did have additional thoughts on menu items. All your feedback is now in our workflow. 🙂
November 20, 2015 at 8:55 am #52310@adminchroncleproject-comHi,
Thank you Michael for starting this discussion. I also think that from a user interface point of view, the current theme is really confusing:
1- never have 2 navigation labels points to the same place, while using different labels:
here Home from the group tabs and “course discussions” are pointing both to the group home page.
Another user interface confusion is to have navigation on to many places: the course discussion button or the tabs menu, you should not have both. And from both menu, you should be able to go back and forth between your general course page and group pages.Solutions:
a) Remove all the tabs (all that menu) as Michael suggested. This is my favorite solution as it would solve other problems. So the Course description page would be where you read all the description and register to the course. After that, you click on “Course discussion” to get to the group (or a better label). And when you are in the group, the button would change for “Course description” to go back.Advantages:
You do not have a course tab that have 2 different content. This would also solved on thing that really is bothering us: if you use other component for your groups, they do not appears in the tabs of the main course page. Like the Documents plugins for example. We have to use that plugin, so users can share media private to the group. And the teacher can post private documents to the group (since the course media are visible to all and not restricted).b) A simple solution is to remove the “course discussions’ button – I would not link it to the forum or rename the label as Michael suggest, that would still be 2 different labels going to one place. We still have problems with that solution.

February 5, 2016 at 8:37 am #58215@mln83Hi guys,
Thanks for the latest update: BuddyPress for LearnDash 1.0.6. 🙂
I was wondering if there is any news on an update for Boss for LearnDash?
We still have issues with the menu tab bugs (Send Invites -> 404, Home -> Course tab inconsistencies, Group Image/Course Top background inconsistencies) as described in this post.
Sorry for asking but it has been a couple of months since the last update on this issue.
Best regards,
