Question
May 23, 2015 at 6:46 am #40520@johnnyPlease visit the bottom of this page:
It seems on both Safari and Chrome, that hundreds of words are overlapping.
Is this a theme issue?
Cheers,
Johnny

AlyssaParticipant@johnny I see the issue but the footer also does not appear formatted correctly. Are you using a plugin to display the links on your front page? I see they overlap is a duplicate of your last post. Perhaps it is a custom coding error?
May 23, 2015 at 5:13 pm #40558@johnnyThanks for the prompt reply!
I have removed a global footer plugin and fixed the issue.
Please have another look.
It looks like the footer does not actually have pagination (ie: next 10 posts link). Is that by design?
Overall though very happy with the design.
Thanks again,
Johnny

AlyssaParticipant@johnny nothing in the footer has pagination by design, there are other tools to search for previous posts. The archive.php is dedicated to just that.
May 24, 2015 at 8:59 pm #40609@johnnyFrom a UX perspective, when the user scrolls down to the bottom of all the posts, there is nothing indicating to them there are in fact older posts.
They wouldn’t even realize that fact, and therefore would not look through archives or search.
As a fix, do we add the archive widget to the footer?
Or can there be a section to view archives/pagination below the wp posts query? Feature request?
Cheers,
Johnny

AlyssaParticipant@johnny I’m not sure why pagination was left out of the front-page template. Find line 59-61 in index.php:
<div class="pagination-below"> <?php buddyboss_pagination(); ?> </div>
Copy to line 41 of front-page.php just ABOVE this line:
</div><!-- #content -->
May 25, 2015 at 9:21 am #40631@johnnyWill this be added to the next theme update? Please.
In order to not lose changes every update.
Cheers,
Johnny
PS: I have done some more custom CSS, the two-column look is looking awesome now!

AlyssaParticipant@johnny I suggest copying the front-page.php template to your child theme. I’ll request it to be added but I’m not sure if it was aesthetics or another reason it was omitted.
May 26, 2015 at 8:07 am #40653@johnnyPerhaps adding pagination as an option to ‘customiser’ would be best.
Having no way to navigate older posts is unusable.
Thanks,
Johnny
