Question
September 25, 2014 at 6:43 am #31995@haimeHi,
I have recently bought BuddyBoss theme and now I am considering the Media plugin for my community. There is one functionality I cannot see in the demo. How does the global photo directory work? I want to close the community pages (with BP Registration Options plugin). However I want to provide a Photoalbum page to (not-logged-in) visitors where they can view all the photo’s (it’s a pony club site)
1. is this photoalbum page open to visitors under these conditions? (i see in the demo the single photo slug is /wp-contents/uploads/… which would make this indeed possible)
2. what are the options for configuring this page? Is it a simple presentation in a grid of all photo’s of all users? What are (if any) the options? (grouping by user? etc.)Thanks in advance!

AlyssaParticipant@haime Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! Here is a link to that page in our demo: https://www.buddyboss.com/demo/buddyboss/global-photos-directory/
To restrict certain areas of your site to non-members I would recommend the plugin s2member. It is free and works great with BuddyBoss.
1) I can’t say with your plugin but with s2member this is possible
2) Right now it is a simple presentation of 15 photos max and pagination. it includes a lightbox display when you click on a photo. User photos are located through their profile page, I’m not sure how that would work under the current global page.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
