Question
February 16, 2015 at 3:31 am #36031@imdyakovHi,
Due to it is stated that Boss comes with styles for Gravity Forms and Contact Form 7 I decided to try the first plugin and there are some issues appeared with Drop Down field in particular.
You can see on the picture that Drop Down field tries to inherit two different styles at the same time (for standard BuddyPress/bbPress filters and more or less standard list field of a form). You can also see that these Drop Down and Multi-Select are looking very different although normally they look quite similar in Gravity Forms.
The settings I used for the field:
Required
Enabled enhanced user interface
Large Size (although it doesn’t take the whole width of the row in this case).Settings of Gravity Forms plugin:
Output CSS – Yes
Output HTML5 – No
No-Conflict Mode – OffAnswers
February 16, 2015 at 5:32 am #36034@imdyakovMaybe this is already a kind of quibble thing but at mobile view (iPhone 5S) checkboxes and radio buttons in Gravity Forms have standard relatively small margin after Field Label but quite substantial margin in between selectable choices although at PC they look the same in very accurate and nice style.
February 16, 2015 at 6:21 am #36036@imdyakovI am not sure that it is not Gravity Forms bug as I can not check it at another theme at the moment but if I Enable “other” choice for Radio Buttons Field the button appearing is not aligned with the rest of them and the text field for inputing other choice doesn’t show up.

February 17, 2015 at 4:27 pm #36102@imdyakovHi TJ,
I have tested that out with another form plugin called Formidable PRO and that is the same thing. You can see that first drop down of the form inherits theme’s style for drop down lists which used as filters on the site. Although Formidable has an option to replace theme’s style for the fields it doesn’t work. Please suggest the solution how to get rid of that when you get the feedback from your devs. You can use my trial registration form as a reference for research.
