How can I add text to the Group Direct listing page?

More info… On my Group Directory Page the heading “User Group Directory” I would like to change to “User Spaces (Groups) Directory”. This is to match the nature of my site. Elsewhere it can say group(s).

Hi @gdecuir, you will need to modify the Language file
You can take a look of LOCO translate plugin
You can easily use it to made edits for language files from your dashboard without any code edit

Hi Varun,

I did just as suggested and some text changed to the word “space”. But there were text that didn’t change from “group” to “space” specially the title that I wanted to change the most. Any other suggestions on what I could try?

Hi @gdecuir, please try buddypress’s language file to do the required changes.

Hi Pallavi, I did modify the the buddypress language. It change some text but not the main parts.

I tried both LOCO Translate and PoEdit (even paid fro the Pro version). Neither was able to translate the full text. Some places the word “space” was shown and in most other places “group” was still the main word. I followed what BuddyBoss, BuddyPress and PoEdit suggested and still had the same results. I must have tried it multiple times and decided to give up and not waste anymore time. So I just reverted back to what it was (group(s)).

and make sure all instances should be modified.
