Question
November 10, 2015 at 9:45 am #51196@ianclaytonSuspect this may be a Jigoshop issue – but I’ll ask anyway (!)
See attached screenshot. Its shows a dummy test course recorded in Jigoshop, and being purchased via a Learndash ‘take This Course’ button.
Notice how the BuddyPress Social Learner sidebar persists. I want this to go away! The page in Jigoshop is a php page not an WordPress actual post/page. So I am hunting down that template – but – in the meantime – is there anything in the Social Learner theme where I can put something to say – “if Jigoshop dont use Social Learner sidebar”
This is an issue I have in general I think – I am having issues with this sidebar being offered by default across the entire S/L theme – how do I suppress on specific pages (Visual Composer or template?)

AnonymousSorry @ianclayton, Social Learner do not have Jigoshop support.
That’s why you are getting the default sidebar at all location.
RegardsNovember 10, 2015 at 12:02 pm #51218@ianclaytonSuspected as much – it would really help if you could give me a pointer as Learndash DOES support jigoshop and its a whole lot cheaper for what i want ($50 versus $400) for the add-ons than Woocomerce.
Where is the product page generated – ‘single-product.php’ page template?
Is there any way to generate an ACTUAl wordpress product page to augment/replace this one?
Can I run a secondary theme alongside just for these pages?
Any help would be awesome as I suspect I might need to consider knocking the code out –
November 10, 2015 at 12:23 pm #51229@ianclaytonFor example – looking at social-learner/sidebar-buddypress.php in them editor I noticed sidebar is not presented if no widgets exist – so removed all widgets and jigoshop page presents. A better solution would be for some code to be inserted that detected the single page that causes the issue – all other jigoshop pages work ok as they are pages… If I can find out the php that create the jigoshop page can you help me further?

AnonymousHello @ianclayton, Need to cross check with plugin functionality before making any suggestion there
Jigoshop is not inside our current plans to integrate with Social Learner.
