    My WordPress admin backend is showing “There is a new version of Boss. 1.2.1 available. View version 1.2.2” Why is it not showing version 2? Do I need to install Boss 2 as a separate theme?

    Also looking forward to hear more about the update. Can I just rewrite the current boss theme? I don’t want to loose my boss theme settings on my current site (made in appearance > customize)

    oh, and will the current child theme be working on the new 2.0 version? Made some tweaks on my current boss install with child theme.

    Hi @gimmedia, if you have made any edits in the header.php, you just have to make adjustment according to new structure. You can easily update the theme after creating backup of the site.

    How do I update though? I am only being prompted to update to version 1.2.2. Do I have to download it and install it as a new theme or should I delete the old Boss theme first?
    Also, as Andre asks, will my current child theme be working on the new 2.0 version?
