Question
December 1, 2015 at 6:30 pm #53384@ricochetsupportWe use SendGrid currently. Is it possible to configure the plugin for SendGrid, or will we need to switch to CloudMailin?
Answers
December 1, 2015 at 7:54 pm #53393@frankwarwickI see SendGrid allow 1200 free emails per month which is a bit better than the 200 by CloudMailin so it would be good to use this or the Google API

AnonymousHi Scott and Frank,
Thanks for the suggestion.
The plugin currently only supports CloudMailin, however we think your suggestion is great.SendGrid is known for sending out emails, but not for handling incoming emails, which is why we went for cloudMailin. CloudMailin specializes in incoming emails.
However it looks like SendGrid also supports incoming emails, so we’re investigating this right now.
We will let you know if we’re going to be able to add support for it.
We have to consider many factors, and test this before we can plan on releasing support for it.Thanks again,

December 2, 2015 at 10:09 am #53485@rugwarriorI use mailgun and they offer 10000 mails free per month. Could be worse 😉

AnonymousHi @ricochetsupport @rugwarrior @frankwarwick
We are planning to integrate
1) Mailgun
2) SendGrid
3) Postmark
4) Your own Email service using Imap approach

Checked SendGrid and Postmark and they seem to have also great offers. Think it depends on volume though… 🙂

AnonymousHi rugwarrior, we are looking into all of those services and on the basis of their support/integration approach we will expand our options.

Varun DubeyDecember 4, 2015 at 11:02 pm #53731@skyrie@vapvarun Any chance of a Mandrill integration if possible?
https://mandrill.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205583197-Inbound-Email-Processing-OverviewI use Mandrill (it’s run by MailChimp) to send out notification emails.

AnonymousHi @skyrie, We had checked possibilities with Mandrill it’s little hard to setup, We have kept in our todo list but
do not have any ETA on Mandrill integration.

Varun DubeyDecember 10, 2015 at 4:25 am #54124@skyrie@vapvarun No problem. Do you have an ETA for when BuddyBoss Reply by Email is updated to work with SendGrid? When it’s updated I’ll buy the plugin and use SendGrid instead. 🙂

Anonymous@skyrie I will update here once we have SendGrid integration.
RegardsDecember 14, 2015 at 11:14 am #54403@jmgrodiI’d probably be up for this plugin as well once SendGrid is integrated.

AnonymousHi @jmgrodi, Hopefully Sendgrid and Imap support get released in our next update.
RegardsDecember 31, 2015 at 1:44 pm #55295@jono_39+1 for supporting Sendgrid. I’ve already had the research done by an amazing WP developer, you should contact him https://profiles.wordpress.org/sarutole/ .They have a great API. If you do this then I’ll use this plugin for all of my sites – currently at 100 and growing.
Sendgrid also has better pricing, services, user experience, amazing support and is much more reputable.
