Question
April 8, 2016 at 10:11 pm #67479@ruvidanHey there! I was wondering if…
1) there’s a shortcode that we can use? I’d like to put some instructions above the place where you write the blog.
2) Can we limit it to a certain category so the user can’t choose?Answers
April 9, 2016 at 12:12 pm #67537@ruvidanHere’s what I’m trying to do.
I have a website where I want users to freely create blogs and data, and I want to keep it separate from my other blogs. If possible, I’d like to have several pages where they can enter a blog but the category is already defined. For instance…I have a page that says “Upload your best pictures here” and then the category is autofilled to submit to the “picture” category (so the users don’t have a choice).
But then I’d like another page that says “write about your experiences here” and it is the same page but the category is locked into “experience” or something like that.
That way I can display different categories on different pages without getting confused writers that are submitting pictures to the wrong category.
Is this something that can be done with code or is there a shortcode I’m missing? All I need to do is predefine the category and be able to make multiple pages that you can write in.

AnonymousHi @ruvidan,
Filter category is not an inbuilt option. We have kept inside our suggestion list.
For instant solution you can take a look of following thread.
