LearnDash upgrade issue

Hi.
We use LearnDash as LMS with BuddyBoss theme. Recently LearnDash published new release 2.1.8.1, and this cause some theme issues.
The screen shot of “LearnDash 2171” is the proper page layout, and “LearnDash 2181” is the page after LearnDash Plugin update, which looks weird.

The learnDash support suggested to contact BuddyBoss as BuddyBoss have customized the LearnDash output, it is important me contact BuddyBoss and have them look into this for me.

Hi @iitutor, You are using very old version of Boss and Social Learner please update you themes.

Note- Create a complete backup of the site before updating it.

Please refer the versions that we have now
1. Boss for LearnDash 1.0.5
2. BP Profile Search 4.4.2
3. BuddyPress 2.4.3
4. BuddyPress for LearnDash 1.0.6
5. SocialLearner 1.0.3
6. Boss 1.2.1

Pleas advise what to upgrade from these.

Hi @iitutor, At present, the current version of Boss. theme Version: is 2.1.0 and Social learner child theme Version: 1.0.6

Note- Create a complete backup of the site before updating it.

Oh my god! Please let me know how to upgrade these themes. WP does not inform me the new versions for these.

Hi @iitutor, Sorry for this inconvenience..after last few updates the updater has stopped working..You will have to do it manually.

Please go to My Account and download the current themes file from there and upload it via FTP.

Note- Create a complete backup of the site before updating it (in case you have made any change in the themes).

i have successfully download the files.
I am a novice to WordPress, so it would be great to forward more details how to install them properly.
1. FTP to which directories?
2. unzip before FTP
3. Do I have to remove the existing folders and/or files before FTP?

Hi @iitutor, FTP that points to your main site folder. Yes first unzip it and then upload rename the current theme folder to old (to prevent any loss).

If you have any confusion..you can send your site details along with your FTP details from our contact us page..we will do that.

Previously, I have been instructed by BuddyBoss to insert the following code into Custom CSS to avoid showing “Course by” as attached.

display: none !important;
}

Could You please let me know how to add this little codes in the latest releases Boss 1.2.1 and SocialLearner 1.0.6?

Have updated as instructed, but “Course by” is still shown.
One odd thing is that your instruction guides me to be at Boss. 2.1.0 page, but I get SocialLearner 1.0.6 page for getting CSS input.
It would be great to advise how to remove “Course by” properly.
