Like button in Buddypress

You guys have a like button in the boss theme demo.

Is that Buddypress Like? or that a boss theme feature?

Do you provide integration with buddypress like by Marshall S?

This is probably a Wall plugin question but:

– Can we add the like button to posts, pages and custom posts? (so that members can add content they like on your site to their social wall)

– Can we add the like button to other sites within the multisite network? (so that members can add content they like on your site to their social wall)

@johnny we are working to add the functionality to posts, pages and custom posts! I don’t think this will cross subsites in a multisite install. This is all very new functionality in WordPress and I’m not sure BuddyPress has been working on this.

Adding a like button and list of likers to posts above the comments box would complement the reciprocal comments facility which now works well on posts and their posts activity as long as this is selected in BP settings. Presumably as comments are now duplicated in both places it would be simple enough to treat the like facility in similar fashion?

Is there are update on the features requested above?

I’m currently trawling through plugins to enable likes/favourites/thumbs up for custom post types but none are going to look good on the site. This would be a great feature!
