Question
September 10, 2015 at 3:11 pm #46149@onefreeinternetHello again 🙂
I am having some trouble styling the login page of my website. Its background is dark, and I wish to make it white, and make the text dark grey.
Attached is the way it looks now.
However, adding this code to the custom.css does not work:
.login {background-color: #FFFFFF!important;}
#login a, #login label {color:#505050!important;}
How do I change the login page’s look? Is this the wrong CSS?
Thank you,
-CAnswers

It will solve your requirement.
RegardsSeptember 11, 2015 at 1:11 pm #46188@onefreeinternetThank you @vapvarun 🙂 Please, can you verify my CSS? I’ve done what you said in the thread and the only thing that gets affected is the font colour. The dark blue background colour refuses to change! -C

AnonymousHi @onefreeinternet,
You have not added any custom css to custom.css
the function which you have added, that was included hook custom.css with wp login page
now any css will add to custom.css will also reflected on login page
RegardsSeptember 23, 2015 at 12:44 pm #46962@onefreeinternet@vapvarun – I had custom css in there and removed it because it didn’t do anything except make the words darker and with a dark background, even more difficult to read.
plus, I’ve moved to eduwebcollege.com – and it’s darker than ever! http://eduwebcollege.com/wp-login.php
But I see you fixed it in launchpad, so thank you so so much 🙂 I appreciate it. I’ll go see what I didn’t do right.
