    I am having an issue with the logo formatting of the title bar. I have tried the 280 x 80 logo size, formatting exactly, but it continues to overlap the size of the remaining titlebar and into the buddy panel messing everything up, including the user profile on the far left which inexplicably drops down a line. . I have tried to resize the logo, cached everything, tried in different browsers, but I can’t get it to size properly.

    When I delete the logos, the Site Title appears formatted fine. The logo also appears formatted fine in the Customize preview window. Its only when published that the havoc begins …

    I am attaching a screenshot of the appearance in the customize preview with the logo, then another screenshot showing how it appears once published. Please advise on what I need to do to get this to appear properly.

    @don4law this can be caused by custom css or a plugin conflict. Are you able to send me a link via PM?

    @don4law both of your issues are caused by plugin conflicts. I am unable to narrow it down to which ones so you will need to disable them one by one until you discover the conflict. Once you narrow it down then we can go through the process to determine if it is a plugin issue or theme issue we need to fix. The menu issue is a jquery conflict most likely by another plugin not using proper standard that I should be able to confirm once you narrow it down.

    PS:It might be member mouse

    TJ,

    I deactivated each of my plugins one by one, including Member Mouse and SimplePress, and none of these changed either of the issues I’m having with logo alignment or the buddy panel collapsing as needed. I even temporarily deleted all custom CSS thinking that might be a cause, but that didn’t change anything either. At this point, I don’t believe its a plugin issue as I even tried most of the likely culprits after deactivating them and clearing the cache. Also in separate browsers (firefox and IE). I’m at my wits end and need some help. Thanks.

    UPDATE: I determined the BuddyPanel issue was due to a conflict with a GUIForm. I removed this form from my sidebar and the problem was resolved. I need to add custom contact forms. Can you recommend a good custom form plugin that is compatible with BuddyBoss.

    The logo malformatting issue continues to plague me

    @don4law Gravity Forms is the leading form plugin out there. Hopefully it is robust enough for your needs.

    As for the logo malformation. Can you try uploading a fresh copy of the theme possibly under a different folder to prevent overriding your current theme and upload the same logo and check if you have the same issue?

    Also, you noted you had custom CSS. How was that added to the site? I noticed you were using a child theme but nothing was added to your custom.css file.

    The CSS was indded added to the child theme custom CSS. That’s the only place where it appears: Appearance<Custom CSS

    I moved the site to a staging site, deleted then reinstalled a fresh copy of Buddy Boss, and still have the same issues with the logo.

    One other thing, if it helps, the small 80×80 logo seems to adjust size wise (although the profile icon is still not formatted correctly. Only the large logo doesn’t seem to adjust right

    TJ,

    This has to be a theme issue. I have deactivated EVERY plugin, including the Buddy Press plugins. I downloaded and reinstalled both the parent and child theme. I added the logo to the parent page with no content, and the logo was offset. I then activated the Buddy Press Plugin and again the profile formatting is off. The logo is exactly 280 x 80. The same thing happened when I activated the child theme.

    I am attaching a copy of how it appears with arrow pointing to the issues with the formatting.

    @don4law can you put the logo back up on your site for additional testing? I’m going to get to the bottom of this one way or another. Thanks!

    @don4law

    Yes,. but just about all plugins are disabled on the staging site. There’s a logo on that site. It’s a much cleaner version to work with since all but a few plugins are disabled. I’ll send you a link with direct messaging.

    How is this going? I really need to get this resolved ASAP as I am at a complete standstill until this pertinent issue gets resolved. Thanks

    @don4law I have a fix! Add this to custom.css:
    header#masthead{background-color:#ee7c35;}
    Change this value if you change the titlebar color 🙂
    I’ll have the devs fix this in the next release.
