Member profile cover photos?

My member profile pages now have a button that says “change profile cover photo”. When you do that, it kept saying an error about the file not being unique. We fixed that with https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/buddyboss-media-breaking-bp-cover-photo-upload/ and it seems to be working.. but where is this image displayed?

None of my member profile walls have any sort of cover image? Is this a seperate plugin that’s needed to see profile page cover images for each member? Am I missing a setting?

Hi @george123, It’s part of theme now
You can enable and disable settings from the BuddyPress settings
and it will be displayed at background of the Avatar image

@vapvarun – I updated to 4.2.7 and some CSS changes are required, which will take some time to go through, as the new update broke the homepage css and widget css somehow..

For now, is there a code I can add, to support cover photos, on the existing buddyboss theme?

When I upgraded, I tested cover photos and they still didn’t show up..

Any luck? Would like to implement this, but even when we updated to the latest buddyboss (before we reverted back) this didn’t work.

Hi @george123, You have reverted back theme version 2.0.8 and it do not have cover image support.

Cover image support was added inside BuddyBoss 4.2.2
