Question
September 6, 2014 at 11:31 am #31344@raytronxWhen a user mentions another user and then the mentioned user replies to that the heading doesn’t look right. Is this a BuddyBoss theme issue or BuddyPress?
example:
User_A mentioned @User_A in a public message 28 minutes ago

AlyssaParticipant@raytronx I’m having a hard time getting the text to say public message but I can see the code is wrong. I’ll submit this issue to the developers.

Anonymous@raytronx This should be fixed in 1.0.7, which has many other fixes as well.

I believe it is like you said some conflict between the Activity Bump to Top plugin and BuddyBoss Wall. The bump to top plugin hasn’t been updated in a long time and I can’t find anything that does the same function. Which is too bad becasue its a great feature. I wish BuddyPress would offer it as an option.
*Timestamp not being a link is fixed now with the recent update to 1.07
October 14, 2014 at 8:42 pm #32595@raytronxIf I deactivate the BB Wall plugin things behave as they should in the activity stream. I really like the “like” feature in BB Wall but I may just have to give it up, because the bump to top is more important in my community.

Anonymous@raytronx Sorry to hear that. Yeah, it’s not likely that we’ll add support for that plugin. It hasn’t been updated in 3 years, which is a lot of time in the BuddyPress world. Activity has been largely overhauled since then and that plugin may not be using current conventions.
October 15, 2014 at 4:15 pm #32622@raytronxI understand, I’ll be sure to post here if I come across a solution
