Mobile Right Side

On the mobile view, when click the icon at the top right the screen moves over but there’s nothing there…please see screenshot. What is this area and how do I populate it?

@ashleyyoung there is probably a plugin not displaying the WP toolbar. Most commonly this is WooCommerce, but it could be any other plugin. You could try disabling them one by one until you discover the culprit.
