    Is there a way to updated the boss singlepost page so that the comments section appears in a 1/3 column to the right of the content instead of being underneath the content?

    Hi @shcthompson
    You can easily customize single.php according to your requirements.
    Copy single.php from parent theme to child them and make your customization there
