My compliments: 3.1.0 BuddyBoss Media kills activity post, great test work! Do I really need to put time in describing the problems (again!!!!), I guess I do, one critical point was missed while you guys tested (did you???).

Upload a image in a comment, and the original (first) posted image(s) gets replaced by the “comment” picture. No way to retrieve the original posted images and deleting the “new” picture … kills (deletes) the whole activity post.

Oh, I tested this in my test, live and absolute clean BuddyBoss Theme install … testing tells you a lot.

@michael Dear Michael, we have talked about this before, but this can’t go one like this. This bug is a major bug, everybody who updates to the latest Media Plugin (3.1.0) and uses the activity wall a lot gets problems. I reverted to the 3.0.8 and only lost 1 post but this just can’t go on like this.

I have tested it again , comment image stick with comment section and Original images are also at same position.
I have used BuddyBoss theme to replicate it.

I need too apologise, it is plugin conflict, BuddyPress Activity Bump (the only one I use in my clean install). I guess that lately too much has gone wrong 🙂 =

Anyway, I can’t upgrade. The activity bump feature is even more important for my site.

Guys, I need this plugin to work with activity bump, the bump plugin is absolutely vital for my site together with the Media plugin.

I would appreciate it if someone would look into this, the code in the Bump plugin is not to complicated, i’m looking into it myself but the complication for me it the code in the media plugin.

We have removed bp activity filter after save
BuddyPress Activity Bump plugins update the activity date recorded on post comment that trigger

remove_filter( 'bp_activity_after_save', array( $this, 'bp_activity_after_save' ) );
