Need better search box and search results page ASAP

I’ve had 5 complaints from customer just today that they can’t find the search box. And when they do the results page is a disaster. Also, Show Stores page keeps freezing up so our customers are basically shopping blind.

I asked about this elsewhere on your forum and haven’t seen an answer. I realize this is a new theme and you guys have bugs you still need to iron out. But we’re getting some pretty angry customers over this search issue. How soon do you plan to address this?

Hi @thehappycouponer, Please let me know which version of theme and plugin you are using also do confirm you are using 5.6+ php version…as its working fine at our end.

I’m not having any issues. However, from a UX perspective, I do think the effect of opening the search box is so subtle that it doesn’t immediately draw your eye to the cursor, and that’s a problem.

We’re using 1.0.2 and yes, the search box works but it’s like David said, it’s very subtle and our customers are missing it. I’ve installed the Woocommerce product search widget in the sidebar but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with OneSocial/Marketplace. It also works, but it’s not very visible and the button is almost non -existent.

Resolved this issue by installing this Woocommerce Product Search plug in which allows you to use shortcodes to place search boxes wherever you want – https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-product-search/
