Need help getting strange error

I think i broke it. I was adding a group and got about half way trough and decided to back up a page. I then got a security msg that stated i did not have permission to complete the action. Now when i goto my home page “www.westfieldhub.com” the login an register tabs are missing (BOSS THEME). When i attempt to access my dashboard by going to it’s extension I encounter this error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_is_active() in /home/indybmwg/public_html/westfieldhub.com/wp-content/plugins/buddyboss-media/includes/admin.php on line 153

I have attemtped to remove buddyboss-media plug in but it corrected nothing and triggered more errors upon attempt to log in. Now I have re added the plug in manually and am back to this error. Here is what the line #153 in admin.php says

if( bp_is_active( ‘friends’ ) ){

Can anyone help. This makes no sense to me.

Update.. Was able to manually disable Media and wall plug ins and restarted Buddypress plug in so everything looks good. However. When I activate media and wall plug in it breaks again.

@dominic1982 this is a known issue. We have a BuddyPress function in our media plugin so if BuddyPress is not active the whole site will error out. Please activate BuddyPress before activating the media plugin.
