Question
November 11, 2015 at 5:34 pm #51389@randomtheoI just updated to the new buddypress. It caused me to not post an update to my wall. It has the area to put the update, but the buttons to actually post it are gone.

November 11, 2015 at 6:33 pm #51395@holidayjoiThe same thing is happening for me…. all options to post anything are gone.
Please Help!
November 11, 2015 at 6:33 pm #51396@mth75Did you click on the textbox first, it will expand and show the Post Update (and other options) button.
November 11, 2015 at 6:34 pm #51397@randomtheoIt does not show the other buttons. I can add all the text I want, but not publish it
November 11, 2015 at 6:36 pm #51398@holidayjoiThere is no button to post nor option to add an image – all buttons are gone.
I see the “post” button as I refresh the page – but as soon as the refresh stops it disappears.
November 11, 2015 at 6:37 pm #51400@mth75Do you use plugins (sharing plugins etc) which add options under the Post Update field? Try to disable them one by one.
I have a clean buddyboss theme install and the post button indeed is gone, until you click on the textfield, then all expands.
November 11, 2015 at 6:41 pm #51401@mth75I tested with the WP theme and Buddyboss Wall disabled, same behaviour as I described, the disappearance seems to be normal behaviour, not appearing while clicking on the text box (or add photo) from the post button must be a plugin problem.
November 11, 2015 at 6:45 pm #51403@mth75You are right, i’m running the buddyboss theme, with the Boss theme it’s broken.
November 11, 2015 at 6:47 pm #51404@holidayjoiI do not understand what plug in problem this is.
This just happened after updating like 15 minutes ago.I need help clarifying what it is I need to do to fix this.
No one can post on my site.November 11, 2015 at 6:49 pm #51406@mth75It’s not a plugin problem. It’s a Boss theme problem (so I think) introduced by updating BuddyPress, the BuddyBoss Theme doesn’t have this issue …
November 11, 2015 at 6:51 pm #51408November 11, 2015 at 6:52 pm #51409@mth75Wait until @michael @tjchester from BuddyBoss update the theme or post a quick fix (if this is possible), or roll back to BuddyPress 2.3.5.
November 11, 2015 at 6:54 pm #51410November 11, 2015 at 6:58 pm #51411@mth75Your welcome Holly, delete your buddypress plugin, upload the one attached (prior version) and unzip in your plugins folder, all should be fine (I tested the procedure).
November 11, 2015 at 6:59 pm #51412@mth75Ok, couldn’t attach the plugin, download the plugin:
