New Social Learner Theme vs Boss Theme

Hi !

Your new theme Social Learner looks awesome. I really like it.
I know there is an option to upgrade from Boss theme for 49$,
but I’m not gonna use Sensei plugin at all.

Is there a way to integrate the new search bar looks ( really like it ) and sidebar look in the Boss Theme ?

@benisben unfortunately the changes you see are a complex mesh between Sensei functions and Boss specific CSS updates to be compatible with the complex Sensei plugin. Sorry.

I don’t get it… Is Social Learner a new theme ?
What I would like is the same style of Social Learner in Boss theme.

I tried to change the style using custom css ( see the image attached )
but I don’t know how to align the blue part at the top with the sidebar,
and I don’t know how to optain the same search bar

@benisben Social Learner is a Boss child theme designed around WooThemes Sensei Plugin.
The problem with aligning the blue bar is that the site is responsive. The right widget area has a 24% width defined between the left BuddyBar the the right side of the page while the header has a defined area from the left to right side of the screen. Getting these two to align all the time is not possible due to the responsive nature of the theme.

ok. So If I choose to purshased Social Learner Child Theme, I will have the good align and the new search bar style even if I don’t use the Sensei Plugin ?

@benisben yes, the header was redesigned in the child theme to allow it to line up properly and the search works with the new styling even without the Sensei plugin.

@benisben I believe we have 2 more in the works. Not 100% certain on that though. No details are being released at this time.
