AlyssaParticipant@leonardoarias that should be already designed in. Do you not get notifications like this?
April 3, 2015 at 6:15 am #38466@leonardoarias@tjchester no, I dont get notifications like that. Perhaps is an issue related to my other discussion here in the forums (ajax-js related):
https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/buddypress-activity-page-not-working-properly/
I just tested the Boss demo site, and it works, but there is a significant delay before the notifications counter is displayed. It takes about 20-30 seconds from the moment that you load the site in your mobile, for the notifications counter to show up. Any idea why?
And, in my site, the notifications counter doesn’t get updated if I don’t refresh the page. And as per what I understand, the counter should update itself if there is a new mention or related notification. I tested in the bos demo site, and yes, it works like that. Not in my site though. So, I truly have some issues with the ajax on my site. Would appreciate if your team can take a look because I tried it all. This issue is definitely related to the other discussion I posted about the “Buddypress activity page not working properly”.
Advise please. Thanks.

AlyssaParticipant@leonardoarias it is possible. I’ll hold off until the devs look into your site directly.

Now that I am in another host, the problem is solved. This thread can be closed. Thank you, TJ Chester.
