Photoswipe blacks out after a second (II)

In my case it hapens when using the “wpmudev chat” plugin and BBMedia 1.1.1.

I think it is related with ajax refresh rate. Can it be avoid while full screen pictures are on?

@tomas-tamayogmail we have received reports of this conflict. We have been in development of an entirely new process to view fullscreen images. Hopefully we can get it released in the next few months but we do not have a fix at this time, sorry. 🙁

@tjchester I can confirm this issue still. Just did a fresh install with WPMU DEV’s plugin alongside and had this issue. Found this thread after some troubleshooting to figure why the images were disappearing.

I tried different polling settings for the chat plugin it still didn’t work. Only disabling the chat plugin fixes the issue.

@sauntvalerian we are still in the process of updating the images similar to FB. In the mean time there are several other chat plugins like comet chat, arrow chat and flyzoo users have reported few or no conflicts.

@tjchester thanks for the quick reply. I’ll look into that, I’m also looking forward to your new version of BBMedia. Some of my early testers last night really enjoyed using the the way it is now, but I do see room for improvement and am excited to see what you come up with.
