Posting on users wall without being friends

Hi,

In my site, I have disabled the option for users to add friends. Instead, users can follow other users and be followed as well.

In BuddyBoss Wall Settings, I have enabled the option ” Allow Wall posting for all members (not just friends).”
But still, no one can post to other people walls. When I go to other users’ walls, I just see their activity, and the form to post something doesn’t show up. If I activate the “friendship” component in Buddypress, then I can see the form to post. But, I dont want to have the friendship setting enabled, since we are using exclusively the model of followers/following.

Questions:

1) How can I enable wall posting for all members without having to be friends?

2) How can I enable wall posting for just people who are following you and to whom you are following back? In other words, people need to follow you and you need to follow them back in order to be able to post in each others wall.

@leonardoarias I’m afraid this is a question for the follow plugin people. This is not a wall plugin issue
