November 14, 2015 at 5:55 am #51639@mln83From http://www.learndash.com/learndash-version-1-4-0-brings-you-groups/ it is possible to assign group leaders in LearnDash who can view individual users, check their progress and review reports on a group’s performance.
One would normally assign a group leader inside the special panel in LearnDash LMS -> Groups but since a group in the Social Learner theme is managed within BuddyPress Groups how would you recommend us to assign Group Leaders with the above mentioned capabilities?
Would something like https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/ be of help in matching these capabilities for BuddyPress Group Leaders?
I notice some options related to this in the BuddyPress for LearnDash backend panel but unsure if they are relevant on a fresh install without previous LearnDash groups?

I was wondering if you have any recommendations for Social Learner when I want to assign a group leader to a specific course similar to the guide here:

AnonymousHi @mln83, We are planning on Group Leader, Instructor and Frontend Editing approach to make it seamless.
At present we do not inbuilt capabilities for instructor role and for their permission in our codes.Learndash Groups are not well integrated with BuddyPress Group. We have discussed with developers and be sure our coming updated will cover all of them.

Is there any way for me to create a difference for someone to login as teacher or students? How can I make sure the teacher can add students, export progress, reports etc..?
It seems Learndash can already do this like shown in http://www.learndash.com/learndash-version-1-4-0-brings-you-groups/
How can a teacher see this in social learner for learndash?

I also think that Social Learner will be updating to include new features at some point (may overlap with plugin features from WISDM LABS) but the question is how long it will take before BuddyBoss will release new features that we would like to see to get a more integrated Social Learner for LearnDash/Sensei platform.

Group Leader functionality is not fully integrated in current version of Social Learner Learndash.
