Question
April 1, 2015 at 7:49 am #38342@amy-l-scottI just updated the theme and see there is an additional icon in the top nav, just to the left of the global search bar, that is a link to one’s profile. That wasn’t there before and is unnecessary because I have the profile dropdown menu on the right side of the nav.
How do I remove this icon/link? I don’t see it in the customization options…
Screenshot attached to clarify what I’m talking about—it’s the silhouette icon.

.site-header .left-col .profile-ico{display:none;}
NOTE I’m unable to support the movement of the rest of the header now that there is a hole. With a responsive header there are too many factors at play to be able to move everything.April 3, 2015 at 8:44 am #38468@amy-l-scottThanks for the code, @tjchester. I didn’t realize that icon was there because of the responsive header. So if I remove that icon, does that mean there will be no profile icon at all on mobile?

AlyssaParticipant@amy-l-scott that icon is not visible on mobile. There will be a profile link the the wp toolbar menu on mobile (the right menu)
April 3, 2015 at 9:19 am #38483@amy-l-scottThanks @tjchester. I guess I don’t understand why there are two profile icons (or the choice to turn off one or the other—I know you can turn off the WP one, but apparently not this other one), but it’s fine.
