Remove pointless numbers from activity filter tabs

As a user and a UIX designer I understand when you visit a page about ‘activity’ and you see a number you are likely thinking – number of updates since I was last here. Right? With buddypress it is different, number is clocked as the total number of members, groups, friends, etc (not posts/updates these filters produce) which is quite confusing.

This is not necessarily a Buddyboss problem but I would be keen to know if I can change/remove this number feature.
