Question
March 14, 2015 at 10:17 am #37307@rickoI prefer not to use the home page slider so I need information on how to remove the blank space that is left in it’s place.

AlyssaParticipant@ricko simply remove all slides and the slider space should disappear completely.
March 15, 2015 at 6:55 am #37371@rickoI did that a while back to negative results. The thing about the home page slider is that for my design I really do not want the BIG thing with the navigation arrows. I would think then there is a way to size the container and eliminate the arrows ??

AlyssaParticipant@ricko I see your issue now add this to custom.css:
body.page:not(.buddypress) .site-content article:not(.comment){padding-top:0 !important;} .panel-grid:first-child{padding-top:0 !important;}
March 16, 2015 at 8:44 pm #37438@rickoOk…now I have my hosting account open to file manager and I have searched through Boss Theme files and cannot find custom.css
When I “searched” for that file I found it in three other themes but not in The Boss ??

AlyssaParticipant@ricko you should be making all your edits to the Boss child theme. Any edit you make to the main theme will be over written during any theme update. You can download this for free under your downloads.
March 18, 2015 at 4:00 am #37507@rickoThanks T.J. I need to read the book on using child themes.
