Search Bar and Profile Cover Photo

Hi,

I just uploaded the cover photo plugin for my site but for some reason when I’m on the members profile page I am unable to use the search function at the top of the site. Please go to http://www.heavenlygifted.com and then search “Travis” and then try to search something again after you get there. You will see that the search bar does not open to search.

Please deactivate bp-cover plugin and try again

I deactivated the plugin and I was able to use the search bar but when I activated it again I was not able to use the search bar or close the buddypannel. Is there another cover photo plugin I can try or can you see why I am not able to click on links when the Buddypress cover plugin is active?

How do I remove my name showing up twice? I just want to the name to show up on the cover photo. The button to add people as friends is also off when I use the cover photo plugin. See attached.

How do I fix these alignments?

You have added it via BP cover image plugin that’s why it’s not displaying properly.

For small customization you can also use https://codeable.io/

So you’re saying with the theme we are unable to use a cover photo plugin?

Is there any other way to add a cover photo for members without having to use customization? This is buddypress after all 🙂
