Sensei v1.9 Shortcodes

Hi, I just updated sensei to the new version 1.9 and the new shortcodes isn’t work properly with .Boss + Social leraner. I did a fresh WP installation without Boss + Social learner and the shortcodes worked. So I figured that some plugin was causing this bug, after some tests it seems that “Boss for Sensei” is the one! I Tried to disable and the shortcodes seems to work now, but the layout is broken without the plugin 🙁

hello, I have the same problem, I reported that they had updated the plugin two days ago, so down again and re-installed and the error persists.

Help please take 3 days waiting for solution.

This has been going on for quite some time now. I think this company got caught with their pants down with the update to Sensei 1.9. I too have determined Boss-Sensei as the plugin causing the issues since when disabled, all the important stuff (lessons, start this course, etc.) appear. Boss-Sensei is all for styling, but it has been updated twice now to 1.05, and 1.06 — with neither version can I get a course to appear properly using either Sensei 1.9, 1.92, or even 1.88. If I go back to an old version of Boss Sensei v 1.02 with Sensei 1.8.8 everything appears to work, but it is a ticking time bomb. If you attempt to disable the the wrong plugin (like Buddypress, or other), the entire site will crash and become unrecoverable.

Which leads us to get info from Buddypress — What works, folks? Give us the secret combination of versions for your plugin that we have all purchased to get it to work —

You should use Sensei 1.9.2 with Boss-Sensei 1.0.6

Sensei have updated their structure and hook in 3 consecutive updates 1.9.0, 1.9.1 and 1.9.2

our current update 1.0.6 for Boss for Sensei will work with 1.9.2

But seems Sensei still have few other issue, we are working on it.

WP + BP + Sensei 1.8.8 you should use Boss for Sensei 1.0.4

We will try to cover all pending points this week.

@felipesantana It seems the only option we have with still using Sensei v1.9.2 is to deactivate the Boss-Sensei plugin, but then the styling is shot to hell, so that isn’t going to work. @vapvarun suggested rolling everything back to it’s last known stable condition, which is Sensei v1.8.8 and Boss-Sensei v1.0.4. We can get Sensei v1.8.8 off of Github, but as of right now BuddyBoss hasn’t given us a way to get Boss-Sensei v1.0.4. So, I guess most of us are stuck just waiting for them to fix Boss-Sensei, which may take a few days, then a few days more…

Just updated all the new releases, but I still can’t get the new sensei’s shortcodes to work! Can you tell if this release you guys fixed that? Is there a way so I can fix this by my self?

Please wait for next update, it is schedule in our next update.
Some of them need to redefined inside Boss for Sensei

1) sensei_user_courses
2) sensei_courses
3) sensei_unpurchased_courses
4) sensei_course_page

Our primary concern was to get all template pages start working fine. Which is done now.

@vapvarun Yeah I understand that you have other things to fix, and most of us are patiently waiting. But is there some quick fix, at least until you release the new version? I have over 12k students waiting for this, so I can display the courses properly.
