Question
January 5, 2016 at 8:07 am #55576@stingray309Hi,
I’ve combined 3 questions that all deal with some of the processes of the shopping cart while inside the Social Theme…with an attached zip file containing 3 screen captures to help explain the issues.
I have the following setup:
WordPress 4.x (Template Boss: Social Learner)
LearnDash
s2Memeber Pro
BuddyPress
BBPress
WooCommerce
woocommerce-buddypress-integration (Themekraft)1) Access to shopping cart by others:
From the same computer, it appears when a user places something in the cart, and logs out, but doesn’t either complete the cart or empties the cart, a second user can login (with their own credentials) and can see the item. They can even make progress by purchasing the item(s) left in the cart.Shouldn’t the cart show the status of the first user’s items and not the second user? Or is the browser reading a plain text cookie and showing the data in the cart? If so, shouldn’t the cookie be a session cookie that when the user closes the browser and gets re-opened by the second user the cart should whatever the status of the cart was for that user? With my setup I can close the browser log in with a second user’s credentials and still access the item. What am I missing?
2) Double links:
I tried adding the link using the menu generator for the Titlebar for “My Account” and I get the following “link”:/member/membername/shop/my-account/my-account
Note: A duplicate listing for “my-account”
However when placed it shows up on the Social Learner bar “Follow, Profile, Friends, etc.”, it’s correct.
3) Text modifications:
Please look at the screen capture. I’d like to change the text in this box, but I need to be sure by changing it – it doesn’t create a lot of white (empty) space.TIA –

AnonymousHi @stingray309,
1)
Cart should be empty when you are logout and for a different user they can keep different products in their cart
User A can keep unique multiple products
User B can also keep unique or same multiple Products
Guest without login = can keep also different item in the cartmight be tmp folder permission is creating any issue, Please consult with Woocommerce or your developer once.
2) my-account , you can keep parent page and delete the child page
and make sure you have added [woocommerce_my_account] to that parent page.3
Add the Parent pages in your menusRegards
