Show search form only for logged in users

Hi!

I run a community with restricted access and would like to remove the search field for logged out users. As it is now, they’re able to search and get results from within the community including activity items, forums etc.

I have my site setup with the s2member plugin to require users to login to be able to view protected content. There’s a setting in that plugin to protect search results, but that setting is not compatible with the BuddyPress Global Search plugin.

I could hide the search field altogether, but like to have it for logged in users in it’s current position. It’s of course also possible to change the PHP code to check if a user is logged in, but I’m curious if others have the same need and this should be a setting.
