Question
April 21, 2015 at 6:48 pm #39222@arnold-burianBefore I go too far, let me point out that I’m new to WordPress, BuddyPress, and the Boss theme.
Having said that, it doesn’t look like the SiteOrigin Page Builder shown in the video tutorial is behaving correctly in the Boss theme.
I have attached two screenshots – one of the editor, and one of the published view. Adding rows seems to generate some strange spacing in the published view.
I went to Settings -> Page Builder and made sure the Row Bottom Margin and Row Gutter are both set to zero, and set the padding around the Visual Editor boxes and the rows that contain them to zero.
Just curious if anyone else has seen this behavior.

If you create a three column row with all Text widgets, and then change one of the widgets to be the Visual Editor, watch what happens. On the second row, an extra “shadow” or shaded area appears below the row.
So, two problems:
1. Spacing is inconsistent between rows (quickly create four rows with some text and see what I mean).
2. The second row behaves strangely when it contains a Visual Editor (vs. the basic Text widget).Unfortunately, this really seems to make entire SiteOrigins plugin unusable.
April 21, 2015 at 9:06 pm #39231@arnold-burianSorry for all the crazy posting, but I grabbed another visual editor to experiment (BeaverBuilder), and it works perfectly. Everything line up nicely, it’s fully responsive, and seems to work just fine with the Boss theme.
<shrugs>
