Social learner 1.0.3 update is not showing

Hello,

I didn’t receive the last update 1.0.3 in my WordPress site. How I can update the theme to the latest version without losing my data?

I have noticed in the last update for the Boss. Theme:
– Enhanced support for BuddyBoss Inbox.

Can you share the link for BuddyBoss Inbox? I could not find it.

Hi @anas-aljefry,

You can update your theme via FTP. First, download the theme forlder from your ‘MY DOWNLOADS’ option and unzip it.

Since we’re replacing and updating theme files, there’s a chance something could go wrong so it’s best to play it safe and have a backup.

There are a couple of simple solutions:

1- Login to your site via FTP and delete the old theme and then upload the new version. Make sure you make a backup of the old version of your theme just in case something goes wrong.
2- If deleting your old theme makes you nervous, another option is to rename the old version of the theme something like “theme-old” . This will allow you to successfully upload the new version of the theme.

BuddyBoss Inbox will be launched shortly.

🙂 we are building our own update service , we are using wp-updates.com services and they are creating lots of issues in providing updates nowadays.
I will close this topic for now, We may have to perform manual updates for short time
