I have installed the Social Learner child theme and all the plugins (including Boss for LearnDash), but my course listing doesn’t look right:
http://screencast.com/t/1JQmkrDS
http://screencast.com/t/Ts1Z9wiZRrX4
Mine says “See More” while the demo says “By ___ and #Lessons”.
I’d also like to remove the “Free”.
Did I miss a step to apply that styling?
Thanks,
Ellen
Ellen, I’m curious to know what you did to even get that far! I want them to look like the demo too but all I have is a full width description layout, like a blog. I really would like the box layout like you have but am not sure how to activate that look. Can you get me that far? Thanks!
Hi @aurorawdc, Please let me know have you installed Boss for Learndash plugin
Regards
@pallavi Boss for Learndash is installed yes. I did have some issues with it not working right unless it was installed at the network level (multisite), I think (or vice versa, sorry it’s been a week or two since I set it up!). Either way, it did seem a bit shaky, so maybe that has something to do with it?
Hi @aurorawdc
Please create a page with name All Course and add Shortcode to it
[ld_course_list order=”ASC”]
It will display all courses
Regards
Perfect, thank you! I was thinking it wasn’t working for the default page, but I guess it’s just a shortcode thing, huh? Thanks.
Hi @pallavi, I am having the same issue, tried using the shortcode mentioned above, but instead of the grid I get the “Archives: Courses”. The Course detail looks just like the demo, so the main issue is with the “All courses” page.
Thanks.
Hi @selbedo, Please create a page with name All Course and add Shortcode to it [ld_course_list]
. It will display all courses on a page same as demo.
Regards
Hi @pallavi, I tried that, and it did not work. I attached a screenshot of what the page looks like after trying the instructions you mentioned above. Please let me know if there is something else I am missing here.
Thanks.
Hi @selbedo, Please do the required changes in Learndash plugin.
Regards
Hi @pallavi, can you please be specific and tell me what “required changes” I need to make in the Learndash plugin? If there is some reference that provides these details, please let me know.
I appreciate all of your help.
Thanks.
Hi @pallavi, I haven’t heard back from you on this – I still need help on this – my site does not look like the demo, and your last response asked me to “do the required changes in the LearnDash plugin”. I need some help and clarification on what you mean – like what specific changes I need to make.
Thanks.
Hi @selbedo, Sorry for the late reply.
I have notified the shortcode issue in our development team and it is added in our queue..hopefully it will be released soon.
Regards
Hi @pallavi, thank you for the response. I appreciate that your development team is addressing this issue – in an earlier reply you suggested that I “do the required changes in the LearnDash plugin” – I’m still not clear on what changes, if any, I need to do in the LearnDash plugin. Can you please let me know?
Thanks.
I never did get a reply to my original question:
